"Simplicity is essential in a complex world."
OMRI GEFEN
My personal-professional journey of creating impact through dialogue and collaboration in Israeli society runs through my work and book. This includes thousands of hours facilitating processes within and between organizations and communities, gaining deep familiarity with the business, public, security and social sectors, alongside insights from my experience as an entrepreneur, CEO and partner. Over the years, my work has also extended globally.
The assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was a turning point that led me to initiate Israel's first mediation firm in 1996, becoming one of the pioneers of the mediation movement in the country.

When people talk about multiculturalism and inclusion, I struggle to understand the complexity others describe. Perhaps because this has always been my natural habitat.
Growing up in Jerusalem's cultural mixing, spending time with Bedouins during archaeological expeditions in Sinai. Throughout my journey, diversity hasn't been a concept to master—it's been the air I breathe.
One of my most significant professional achievements is establishing the Multicultural Leadership Forum of Ramla. For 15 years, this forum has operated based on dialogue and trust, proving that authentic multicultural leadership isn't about managing differences—it's about discovering the richness when diverse voices find synergy.

Beyond my professional life, and in a way combined with them, my journey of transformation is enriched by diverse experiences that include Kung Fu training, sea kayaking, Vipassana practice, off-road driving, Techno music dancing and encountering with diverse cultures around the world. These fields enhance my introspection and understanding of human interactions and humbleness.
